The course includes exploration of the origins of drama; storytelling; exercises to develop voice; improvisation; and activities to develop understanding of text, character, movement, and use of space on stage. The Drama elective attends both to the creative aspect of students’ development and to reinforcement of skills introduced in the High School English courses.
