In Middle School, special emphasis is placed on developing the ability to understand and evaluate artwork from a variety of cultures and historical periods. The Middle School Social Studies curriculum is directly integrated into the Middle School Art program as sixth grade studies Ancient Art, seventh grade studies Geography and eighth grade focuses on Early American Art.
