What's Happening at ACST?
Tunisian artist Jamel Chaouki Mahdaoui engaged TOK students in a thought-provoking discussion about the nature of art during a rooftop meeting in Sidi Bou Said. He emphasized that while art is a deeply personal expression, both artists and audiences play crucial roles in creating meaning and understanding within the art experience.
On October 1, 2024, ACST celebrated the 30th day of school with a special visit from Zero the Hero, a math enthusiast who helps kindergarteners understand the importance of zero in place-value concepts. Through a jazzy song and fun math tools, Zero the Hero creates memorable learning experiences that connect to future abstract ideas, leaving students excited for his next appearance on the 40th day of school.
