    High School (9-12)
Starting in August 2017, we are requesting that all grade 9-12 students come to school with an Apple laptop. This program, known as "Bring Your Own Device", (BYOD) is becoming common place in both private and public education.

    Why BYOD?
Some key points of BYOD are:
Every student has their own device
Helps bridge the gap between at school and at home learning
Empower students to be resposible with thier technology

    Why Apple?
ACST has a long history of being an Apple School. We have been purchasing and using Apple since 1998. We send our technicians to Apple trainings and all of our teachers are familiar with Apple operating system and software. Each Apple comes with free software for page layout, spreadsheets, presentations, audio production and video editing. In additon to gbeing able to support Apple, we find they are reliable and have a good long life (usually more than  5 years).
